Marlins, come home for a weekend full of fun!

The countdown to Homecoming and Family Weekend is on! Make plans to join in on the fun October 4 - 5 for a weekend full of festivities.
The weekend will kick off Friday, October 4, with Marlin Spirit Day. Show your Marlin pride by wearing your favorite gear and sharing photos on social media. Meanwhile, the 23rd annual VWU Golf Outing will take place at Cypress Point Golf and Country Club. Later that evening, alumni will gather to reconnect with friends at Shorebreak Pizza & Taphouse on Shore Drive.
Homecoming fun continues Saturday with FinFest! Enjoy a day filled with food trucks, live music and family-friendly activities. There will be a kiln opening dedication honoring alumnus Jim "Zulu" Zullinger '70 starting at 10 a.m. A special lecture with Dr. Dave Garraty will follow at 11 a.m. Cheer on the Marlins during athletic competitions and alumni games throughout the day. The Tassos Paphites Soccer Complex will hold a dedication ceremony after the women’s soccer match at 3:45 p.m. The evening ends with a celebration of the best of VWU athletics at the Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
Don’t miss the fall theater production of “Chicago,” performed on Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m., with a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m., at the Susan S. Goode Fine and Performing Arts Center.
